Apple is planning to finally make available the artificial intelligence features it has introduced in recent months.According to the latest reports, the first features to be offered with Apple Intelligence will be available to users as of October 28.
Apple will roll out artificial intelligence gradually
According to a new report by Bloomberg editor Mark Gurman, Apple will roll out the first part of its new Apple Intelligence features on October 28. Apple Intelligence, announced with iOS 18 and iPadOS 18 in recent months, will bring artificial intelligence capabilities to Siri, search, messaging and more.
Unfortunately, not all Apple Intelligence capabilities will be available from day one. Features that integrate Apple’s AI with third-party services like ChatGPT won’t arrive until iOS 18.2. Other Siri upgrades will be rolled out with iOS 18.4 in March 2025.
The gradual rollout will also allow compatible iPhone models to adapt to AI features. Apple Intelligence will initially be supported on the iPhone 15 Pro series, M1 and newer iPads, and M1 and newer Macs.
Gurman also reported that Apple will enter a busy period in November with a series of product launches. On November 1, Apple is expected to unveil redesigned 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pro models with the M4 chip, a new Mac mini, an updated iMac and the seventh-generation iPad mini.
Looking ahead to 2025, the company has plans for a refreshed MacBook Air, iPhone SE, iPad Air series, and Mac Studio and Mac Pro in the second half of the year.
